One Louisiana Congressman has introduced a bill that would dock the pay of members of Congress who miss votes. Republican Charles Boustany is calling the bill, "No Show, No Pay".
In a statement released Wednesday, the bill is a response to members who "Habitually miss important votes on key policy initiatives and legislation by leaving early or arriving late in order to attend fundraising and campaign events".
Under Boustany's bill, a member of Congress who misses a single vote would not receive pay for that entire day.
