A decision on where to build a new western parish library branch may not be made for at least another six months.
The Lafayette Public Library Board of Control discussed Monday, possible locations for the new library, which will serve the Scott and Duson areas. Population and traffic predictions are a big factor in the decision making process.
As for the downtown Lafayette main branch, Asbestos is being removed from the building and renovations will follow shortly.
