Senator Mary Landrieu is going on a coastal tour of Louisiana to celebrate the passage of the Restore Act.
The newly passed act will dedicate 80% of BP penalties paid under the Clean Water Act to Gulf States for ecological and economic restoration. Senator Landrieu will make five stops along the tour.
She will be in Lafayette this Monday at the Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce. The event will begin at 2:15 p.m.
the Restore Act was approved last week by the Senate and House.
