UL Architecture Students Build Nexthouse

Graduate students in UL's Architecture's program are learning how to transform their architect designs into real world construction. The project called "Nexthouse" is a project between King Contractors and UL Architecture students.

The goal of the program is to build affordable and contemporary homes while influencing existing neighborhoods and surrounding communities. The home is located on 319 Jackson Street in the Freetown neighborhood.

The selling price for the Nexthouse is listed at one hundred fifty nine thousand dollars. Proceeds from the sale of the house will be used for construction of future houses.
