Child Pornography Arrest

State Police and Ascension Parish Sheriff's Detectives have arrested a 29-year-old St. Amant man on child pornography counts.

On Wednesday detectives searched the home of Brandon Mayers and found several images of child pornography on his computer.

Mayers was arrested and booked into the Ascension Parish Prison in Donaldsonville. He was released on bail Thursday.
