Houma toddler killed in driveway of home

A 16-month-old girl struck by an SUV in the driveway of her home has died. 

30-year-old Sandra Lopez-Barragan was backing out of her driveway Saturday when her vehicle struck her daughter, Jayce Salazar.

The child was taken to Leonard Chabert Medical Center, where she died from her injuries. 

Police say the accident remains under investigation.
