Thunderstorms and lightning strikes injured one boy in Gulf Shores Sunday leaving him in critical condition. Ten year old, Landon Broussard, from Delcambre is recovering in a hospital in mobile. According to a lifeguard who was on duty, as the storm rolled in, everyone quickly hurried off the beach. Then suddenly a lightning bolt hit the water's edge, and that is when someone noticed a boy lying near the water. A family member began performing CPR until the lifeguards got there. Paramedics performed CPR in the ambulance and were finally able to get a pulse. The boy was last listed in critical condition Sunday night.
