Low-cost Rabies Vaccinations in Lafayette and St. Martin Parish

  You'll have the chance to protect your pet against the deadly threat of rabies during a series of low-cost vaccination clinics to be held In St. Martin Parish on Saturday, April 21 and over the next two weekends in Lafayette.

LAFAYETTE:

   The Lafayette Animal Control Center is teaming up with Lafayette area veterinarians to offer the vaccinations at a low cost of only $7 per pet.  Lafayette Parish law requires that all animals over the age of 4 months must be vaccinated annually by a licensed veterinarian and registered with the city each year.  Cats and dogs are eligible to be vaccinated at the low-cost clinics, but due to the different vaccine needed, pet ferrets must be vaccinated your veterinarian's office.

 Lafayette Parish residents can get your pet vaccinated between 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. Saturday, April 21 at the following locations:

NORTHSIDE HIGH

IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY

L. LEO JUDICE ELEMENTARY

JUDICE MIDDLE SCHOOL

DUSON CITY HALL

   If you're not able to attend, a second series of low-cost rabies vaccination clinics will be held the following Saturday, April 28, from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at these locations:

Residents of St. Martin Parish will also have the opportunity to protect their pets against rabies on Saturday, April 21.   Veterinarian Dr. Jackie Simon will make stops at the following locations to vaccinate dogs and cats against rabies for only $5 per vaccination.
