In South Louisiana crawfish may be king but that's only the case when they are in season. Boudin, on the other hand, can be enjoyed all year round, and can be made with a variety of ingredients. So it's a safe bet just about everyone has a favorite kind and a favorite place to get it.
But if one Acadiana elected official gets his way the city of Scott will be officially recognized as the one and only Boudin capital of the world.
