Acadiana's News Leader Abducted Child Found

A three year old girl from Avoyelles Parish who was abducted by her biological father Friday was found Saturday unharmed. Riley Gautreaux was reported missing on Friday after she was taken from her home in Bunkie. She was abducted by her biological father Corey Gautreaux after forced his way into the house and beat up an elderly woman to get to Riley. They were found early Sunday morning at a house in the Turkey Creek area. Corey Gautreaux was taken into custody without incident by U.S. Marshals. Charges will not be filed until he is extradited back to Avoyelles Parish on Monday.
