Catholic Service Centers Receives $375,000 Donation

Friday the Lafayette Catholic Service Centers received a hefty donation that will go a long way toward helping Acadiana's homeless community. Bishop Michael Jarrell was there to present a check for $375,000.
    

The funds will go toward operations at different homeless shelters around Acadiana like Saint Joseph's Diner. The Lafayette Catholic Service Centers also operates programs like New Life Child Care and the Saint Michael Center for Veterans.
    

That money was raised through the Opus Christi Magnum Fundraiser.
