UL Lafayette has mapped out the next fifteen years and it includes more parking garages, student housing and even bike paths. The school has had a series of feedback sessions that will bring to life the university campus over the next 15 years. The master plan will be a blueprint on what the campus could look like in the year 2026. The growth of the campus will focus on the main campus and common areas, enhancing them for student life. The master plan has a vision of athletic complexes, intramural fields, a research complex, and much more. Those involved with the project assure the public this is a real concrete plan for the future of the school. Construction on the expansion and renovation for the Student Union is already set to begin in August. –Rob Mallia
