OHS Prayer Debate

An atheist group wants a local superintendent to reprimand one of his principals for allowing a prayer rally to take place in a school.

The 'Freedom From Religion Foundation' is asking Saint Landry Parish Superintendent Michael Nassif to rebuke the Opelousas High Principal. According to a letter sent to Nassif, the principal permitted a priest and a women's group from Holy Ghost Catholic Church to "bless every inch of the school." 

A local member of the Madison, Wisconsin, based group tipped them off to the event.
