Acadiana's News Leader Falcon Rice Mill Gets New Owners

One of Acadiana's proud family-owned businesses is moving on, to the next generation.    

Falcon Rice Mill was sold earlier this month to the third generation siblings Robert Trahan and Christine Fulton bought the 69 year old Mill Robert says, he never saw the grandfather who started the mill but he feels his presence, every time he enters the mill.

Both siblings are certified public accountants they say; they will keep the mill true, to its Louisiana heritage, while they own it.
