Lake Charles Shooting Victims in Update

We have new information on the condition of the victims of last week's shooting at the Ross Dress for Less store in Lake Charles.

The first victim is listed in fair condition and should be discharged from the hospital soon the second victim is still in critical condition.

Both are employees of the store. The shooting happened Friday just after noon. Twenty six year old Sharonda Obey was arrested and charged with attempted first degree murder in connection with the shootings.

Authorities in Lake Charles arrested a suspect after a shooting around noon Friday at the Ross Dress for Less in Lake Charles.  Sharonda Obey is in jail on two counts of attempted first degree murder.
     

Police believe the shooting was the result of a domestic dispute. One person is in critical condition, while the other is in serious condition.

The store was closed after the incident, no word yet when it will reopen.
