Chuck was born on August 9, 1959 in Hastings, Nebraska. The Huebner family moved to Acadiana and Chuck graduated from Comeaux High School in 1977. While in high school, Chuck became involved in radio, working at KTDY/KPEL in Lafayette. He then enrolled at USL and earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Management in 1982, all the while pursuing his interest in radio. In 1982, Chuck moved to KNIR/KDEA, taking the position of News Director.
In 1984, Chuck arrived at KLFY as a General Assignments Reporter, covering Iberia, St. Martin, and St. Mary Parishes. Chuck worked his way up to co-anchor the Eyewitness News Weekend Report in 1985, and in 1990, Chuck was promoted to co-anchor of Newscan 10. In 1993, he earned the top reporting position at TV-10, rising to the position of City Editor. And most recently in August of 2000, Chuck became co-anchor of TV-10's Eyewitness News at 6 and 10pm.
Chuck's hobbies include foul weather sailing and camping.
