Carencro guard Trevion Williams came up with a big-time performance for the Golden Bears in the state semi-finals.
He had 21 points in 21 minutes.
That performance earned him KLFY Athlete of the Week honors.
Williams says it's that time of the year.
"Playoffs, it's the playoffs... you have to step up in the playoffs... I had to bring it... in the playoffs, you have to play," he says.
“When we needed him the most, there he was, he was Johnny on the spot. 21 points in 21 minutes is rather spectacular in high school,” said head coach Christopher Kovatch.
Friday night Williams and the Bears go for the school's first basketball title.
