LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) - Northside senior basketball guard Isaiah Rollins been through a lot this season.
Rollins has gone through some ups and downs this season with knee issues.
In his latest performance, he had 20 points, in a win vs. St. Thomas More.
That performance earned him athlete of the week honors.
"If we play as a team and I was trying to be a leader and bring everybody together so, I tried to set the tone and bring the energy for everybody," Rollins said.
“He’s one of those kids you only get one every once in a while. 4.0 and a 25 on the ACT. [He’s] very intelligent, been raised the right way. So he is just a great kid to have lead the bunch," said Vikings head coach Ross Rix.
Northside sports a 16-9 record and will be off this Friday before playing Carencro in their next matchup.
