They were deemed the "Bikini Bandits", and now, two teenagers have been arrested for burglary.
Lafayette Police tells TV10 a 16 year old female from Baton Rouge, turned herself in Monday for her role in last week's vehicle burglaries at a Lafayette apartment complex.
The teen was charged with three counts of simple burglary of a vehicle.
Meanwhile, her accomplice, another 16 year old female, was arrested Friday and also charged with three counts of simple burglary of a vehicle.
Police say they have recovered some of the merchandise stolen in the incidents.
The case remains under investigation.
One of the so called bikini bandits is now behind bars.

Police say they are now searching for a second juvenile female.

The two women, sporting their bikinis begin pulling on car doors to see if they're unlocked.
Eventually they were able to break into three vehicles, making out with a number of items including a GPS system sunglasses and a wallet.
