It was a disappointing scene in Baton Rouge Wednesday for members of the Save the Lake Peigneur Group, as action put AGL Resources one step closer to drilling in the lake.
Recent bubbling in the lake is one of many flags going up that have people worried about any work in the area.
Wednesday, The State Mineral Board voted 'yes' on the operational agreement with AGL Resources.
According to opposers, this means the only thing standing in the way of the work is a few permits. But those opposers say they are evaluating options for more action.
