Sarah Forgany comes from Houston, Texas. She graduated from University of Houston in three years with Cum Laude in journalism. She has been working in television since 2002. Her career began at News24Houston as a media manager and fill-in reporter. It eventually led her to KTRK where she edited for several years before coming to KLFY.
Sarah was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt. Moving to America has had a profound effect on her life and who she is today. She likes to see herself as a blend of the east and west. Growing up with two very different cultures helped her gain a wider perspective of the world. She loves to travel and learn about different people, cultures and religions. Some of her favorite places are Australia, New Zealand and Egypt.
Sarah is fluent in Arabic and currently learning Spanish. She's a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.
She enjoys watching documentaries and reading a variety of books. She's a huge fan of the series "Heroes" and "Lost".
