Musician Matthew "T-Clem" Cormier of Church Point passed away over the weekend of August 26th. He was 22.

Cormier was the bass player for Travis Matte and the Zydeco Kingpins.

Cormier, who also worked in home construction, died this weekend following injuries from a work-related accident Thursday.

He grew up in music, following in the footsteps of his father, Barry, and grandfather, Elton "Bee" Cormier.

Funeral arrangements will be at Guidry's Funeral Home in Church Point. The wake will be Tuesday from 10am until 10pm and Wednesday from 8 until 11am with the funeral proceeding.
