TV10-DR. PEPPER TEEN REPORT

It's an exciting time for all of us here at TV10.

We've made our final selections for the 2009-2010 TV10, Dr. Pepper Teen Report Team.

We've spent countless hours reading, and re-reading your applications and letters of recommendation, so after much deliberation, we're proud to announce our new team members.

They are:

  • Tenecia Guilbeaux, a senior at Opelousas High
  • Hailey Gauthier, a home schooled student from Lafayette
  • Cameron Scott Daigle, a Junior at Acadiana High
  • Colby Guidry, a Junior at Comeaux High
  • Jy Johnnie, a senior at Kaplan High
  • Jared Luent, a senior at Loreauville High
  • Darian Kidder, a Junior at Breaux Bridge High
  • N'kyia Moten, a Junior at the Magnet Academy in Opelousas
  • And our first set of twins, Morgan and Taylor Meaux, who are Juniors at Lafayette High

They will join our returning teen reporters, Alonzo Frank of Northside High and Ariel Leblanc of Franklin High.

Some local high school students aren't just sitting in classrooms listening to lectures, they're immersed in hands on activities, incorporating the arts into every part of the curriculum.

   

Teen Report - New Recruits
These outstanding high school students are leaders in their schools and their communities, and they'll spend the coming school year keeping TV10 viewers informed and up to date on issues and events affecting young people in Acadiana.
