Lawmen have identified a second suspect in a week-old murder in Iberia Parish.
Detectives say a New Orleans evacuee was one of the shooters in last Tuesday's homicide in New Iberia.
The Iberia Parish Sheriff's Department says that man is 18-year-old Ricardo J. Irvin.
According to investigators, Irvin was wanted for a similar homicide in Houston a few months ago.
The New Iberia shooting happened at a home on Jacob Alley.
18-year-old Jamon Rogers died of a single gunshot wound to the hip and 20-year-old Antonio Allen was critically injured.
Detectives worked with the New Orleans Police Department and the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Department in identifying Irvin as the second triggerman.
They say three witnesses identified Irvin in a photo line-up.
You'll recall the first suspect, 29-year-old Dwuane Simon, was arrested last Tuesday and charged with first-degree murder.
Irvin, meanwhile, remains at large.
