SPRINGFIELD, La. (AP) - Livingston Parish sheriff's deputies are investigating the stabbing death of a 19-year-old woman.
Deputies were dispatched to the report of a stabbing in Springfield Monday night. Upon their arrival, investigators say they found the victim, Dana Lindsey, had been stabbed numerous times. Lindsey was pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies say 25-year-old Charlotte Marie Lee, who live nearby, was booked with second-degree murder.
Investigators say Lee told them the stabbing was an accident.
It wasn't immediately clear if Lee has an attorney.
