ALEXANDRIA, La. (AP) - A Lecompte man was killed after the pickup he was driving rear-ended a Union Pacific truck.

State police say 68-year-old Charles L. Lyons was pronounced dead at the scene after the crash on U.S. Highway 71 Wednesday.

Troopers tell the Alexandria Daily Town Talk that the driver and three passengers in the Union Pacific crew truck weren't injured in the crash.
