BENTON, La. (AP) - Lake Bistineau will reopen for boating traffic on Thursday.
Bossier Parish Administrator Bill Sltimus says area officials believe the lake has fallen enough for boats to be able to get on the water and not damage surrounding property. The lake had risen to record levels because of recent storms.
Boaters will be allowed back on the lake beginning at 7 a.m.
