The sister of Kevin Robinson, the man who was murdered last week in Kaplan, tells TV10 she's livid that one of her brother's alleged gunmen could soon be walking the streets again.

Jordan Huntsberry's bond was set at $750,000 Wednesday after he turned himself into the Vermilion Parish Sheriff's Department for his alleged involvement in the Kaplan shooting.

Jordan was already out on a $250,000 bond for another murder when the shooting in Kaplan took place Friday.

Now, the victim's sister tells us she fears for her family's life if Huntsberry is bailed out again.

"I want his bond revoked, removed, he can stay in jail until trial. There are no more innocent people that need to be shot or anything else. He needs to stay in jail. He gunned down my brother."

Authorities say it's still unclear what role Huntsberry played in the Kaplan shooting, as of today, he remains in jail.

According to state law a bond is designed to make sure people show up for trial and is not intended to be used as a tool to prevent them from getting out of jail.

After days of searching 18 year old Jordan Huntsberry, an accused murderer, is behind bars. Deputies say Huntsberry turned himself into the sheriff's department Tuesday.

He and another suspect allegedly entered Kevin Robinson's home in Kaplan on Friday and shot him multiple times killing him. Huntsberry was also indicted back in June on second degree murder charges for the killing of an Abbeville man.

He was initially arrested on a million dollar bond but after his indictment, his new bond was set at $250,000. A good reason to question the justice system according to Kevin Robinson's family who tell us had Huntsberry been behind bars, their brother would be alive today.

"We have a justice system for a reason, do I think it's fair, sometimes it's not, right now it's not fair" said Patrina Porter.

The family tells us they feel somewhat relieved now that Huntsberry is behind bars and they don't believe he should walk out again.
