SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) - Lindsey Evans has gone from mug shot to centerfold.

The former Miss Louisiana Teen USA who was arrested last year on a marijuana possession charge and for skipping out on the bill at a Bossier City restaurant, is Playboy's Playmate of the Month for October. The issue hit newsstands Friday.

The Blanchard, La., native could not be reached Friday for comment, but she told The Shreveport Times that everything is "pretty surreal right now."

The 19-year-old made headlines last year after she left a restaurant without paying, only to realize later that she had left her purse - with her wallet, ID and a bag of marijuana - on the table. She subsequently was arrested and stripped of her title.

Evans says she hasn't been in any trouble since then and her parents are supportive of her decision to bare all for the magazine.
