Pet owners can microchip their animals this weekend while helping further the work of the Wild Cat Foundation of Acadiana.

Saturday, August 1st, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm  the merchants of River Ranch will host a children's expo in the Main Street area.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Spay-Neuter Clinic the foundation is hoping to open early next year.

Lafayette Animal Control will be on hand to offer low cost microchips for a fee of $23.00 including registration.
