A former Duson Police Chief is making headlines again, this time he's behind bars.

Former Chief Roland Lewis was arrested by Duson Police Thursday night after reportedly getting into a fight with another man and knocking him unconscious.

Lewis has been charged with second degree battery.

He was booked into the Lafayette Parish Jail, but has since been released.
