A Rayne man and woman are in the Acadia Parish Jail after sheriff's officials say they kidnapped and held another woman against her will.

Authorities say 31 year old Tyson Gibson and 43 year-old Cloredia Gibson went to the victims residence around 3:30 am Thursday and forced her into a vehicle and drove off.

Fortunately for the victim a passerby witnesses the victim being forced into the vehicle and alerted authorities.

Tyson was charged with two counts of domestic battery, second degree kidnapping and sexual battery.

Cloredia was charged with second degree kidnapping.
