A neighbor in Cankton is doing his best to battle city hall and some progress may have been made.
He's trying to enlist help from local officials in fighting flood waters from his doorstep.
Harold Duffy says the coulee near his house is constantly running over when it rains, flooding his yard and coming dangerously close to his home.
After years of complaining to his drainage board in St. Landry parish, Duffy says he's had enough.
So Duffy enlisted the help of Eyewitness News, we were able to arrange communication among the proper channels, and now he's been guaranteed his problem will be addressed.
